Preschool Story Time with author Candelaria Silva-Collins (Main) In-Person

We invite children and their caregivers for a Black History Month story time with special guest Candelaria Silva-Collins. Recommended for children ages 3-5. This event is co-sponsored by Cambridge Arts.

This program will take place in the Rey Room at the Main Library, where space is limited. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. Please call 617-349-4038 for more information. 

Candelaria Silva-Collins is an author, arts administrator, and facilitator. She connects community-based groups to the arts; coordinates the Creative Entrepreneur Fellowship for the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston; and is Project Manager of the Fellowes Athenaeum Trust Fund for programs at the Roxbury Branch of the Boston Public Library.

Candelaria’s children’s stories, fiction, essays, and reviews have been published in local and national publications and she is active on social media and frequent blogger. She has published a series of children’s picture books featuring an active and imaginative Black girl, Stacey Huggins: Stacey Became a Frog One Day (2020), Jump, Jump, Jump, Stacey! (2021), and What’s the Baby’s Name, Stacey? (2022).
