Reaching for the Stars: Get to Know Women in Space In-Person
Join Maia Weinstock, MIT science editor and lecturer on the history of women in STEM, as well as the creator of LEGO’s Women of NASA set, for a kids’-focused workshop on women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics who’ve made important contributions to space history. Following a brief presentation, attendees will take part in crafts and a reading exercise celebrating historic women in the space industry. They will have a chance to view the Women of NASA LEGOs and take home a book on one of the celebrated women.
