Introduction to Digital Storytelling In-Person
This two-hour class, offered in collaboration with CCTV, covers the basics of digital storytelling. We will discuss the process of turning genealogical research into audiovisual storytelling, from concept to completion. Learn how to develop a narrative and weave sound and visuals into your script. By addressing artistic as well as practical concerns, the class will introduce you to the challenges and rewards of digital filmmaking as a means of documenting one’s family history and will prepare you for the production of your short film. Registration is mandatory. Prerequisite: You must have taken the library's Beginner's Genealogy Workshop Series.
