Family STEAM Night - Kitchen Scrap Gardening (Virtual)

Family STEAM Night - Kitchen Scrap Gardening (Virtual) Online

Families with elementary school age children join us virtually for hands-on activities focused on Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering, and Math. Adults and children will learn and play together! We will be preparing for the Spring and exploring kitchen scrap gardening using materials you have at home.

If you would like to participate in the hands-on activity, please have on hand the following:

  • Kitchen scraps (any of the following): End of a head of lettuce, carrot stick, celery in a bunch, tomato slice, bell pepper, squash
  • Bowl
  • Water

For later:

  • Small/medium pot for planting, or outdoor garden space
  • Potting soil

Register below. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants one hour before the program begins.

Virtual Family STEAM Night is free and open to the public and is not recorded. If you register but later find you cannot attend, please remember to cancel your registration to make space for others.
