 loss of her friend in a 2011 triple-murder in Waltham\, Zalkind—an 
 investigative reporter and the writer and producer behind the 2022 Hulu 
 docuseries The Murders Before the Marathon\, named one of the best shows of 
 the year by The Wall Street Journal—determined to find out more.\n\nIn 
 The Waltham Murders—part-memoir\, part-journalistic inquiry—Zalkind is 
 able to communicate to the reader not just the facts of this gruesome 
 murder\, as well as its possible links to the Boston Marathon bombings two 
 years later\, but also the feelings such a horrible crime brings to the 
 fore.\n\nThe reading will be followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
