CPL Presents: Susan Clare Zalkind, author of THE WALTHAM MURDERS In-Person / Online

Join the Cambridge Public Library in welcoming Susan Clare Zalkind, author of The Waltham Murders, for a reading and discussion moderated by Becky Cooper, author of We Keep the Dead Close.

After the loss of her friend in a 2011 triple-murder in Waltham, Zalkind—an investigative reporter and the writer and producer behind the 2022 Hulu docuseries The Murders Before the Marathon, named one of the best shows of the year by The Wall Street Journal—determined to find out more.

In The Waltham Murders—part-memoir, part-journalistic inquiry—Zalkind is able to communicate to the reader not just the facts of this gruesome murder, as well as its possible links to the Boston Marathon bombings two years later, but also the feelings such a horrible crime brings to the fore.

The reading will be followed by an audience Q&A and book signing.
